As a reminder, these amendments:
- Provide that sugar delivered under the contract must be manufactured no earlier than 12 months prior to the delivery month, from than the previous provision of 18 months.
- Increase the minimum permitted delivery quantity per port from 20 to 80 contracts.
- Raise the minimum loading rate from 3,000 to 4,000 long tons per weather working day.
- Provide that the polarization premium schedule begins at 97 degrees, eliminating the fractional premium for fractions of a degree of polarization between 96 and 97 degrees.
