NYBOT Announces Changes To Listing Schedule For December 2003 NYSE Composite Index® Futures And Options Contracts

Date 20/12/2002

The New York Board of Trade (NYBOT®) announced today that effective with the opening of trading on Monday, December 23, 2002, the December 2003 NYSE Composite Index futures contract will be delisted from trading and the December 2003 NYSE Composite Index options contracts will not be listed for trading as long as there is no open interest in the futures contract as of the close of business Friday, December 20, 2002.

The reason for the delisting of the futures contract and not listing the options contracts is to allow for contemplated changes to the Index by the New York Stock Exchange, Inc.
