NYBOT Adds Albany And Baltimore As Delivery Points

The New York Board of Trade® (NYBOT®) announced today that effective immediately, the Exchange is implementing amendments to its Cocoa Rules to add the ports of Albany and Baltimore as delivery points for its Cocoa futures contract, commencing with the May 2006 delivery.

At the same time, another rule amendment concerning cocoa sampling is being implemented to provide that the deadline by which samples being submitted for grading and which are drawn in each of the new ports must be delivered to the Exchange is three business days.

Cocoa futures and options contracts are traded at NYBOT from 8:00 am until 11:50 am (NY Time). The Cocoa contract is for 10 metric tons (22,046 pounds) of exchange-certified cocoa.
