Novabase (Portugal) In Next 150 Index. New Composition Next 150 Index

Following the official result of the takeover bid by the French company Cargill Starch Holding for the French company Cerestar (Next 150), Cerestar will be removed from the Next 150 Index.

The following change for the Next 150 index will be effective as of Friday, 24 May 2002.

The highest ranking constituent of the reserve list by market capitalisation as at the close of business 20 May 2002, replaces Cerestar in the Next 150 Index. Following ranking analysis, the Portuguese company Novabase will enter the Next 150 index as of Friday, 24 May 2002.
