Shanghai Stock Exchange: Notice Of Issuing “SSE Business Guidelines On Direct Channel For Listed Companies’ Information Disclosure” And “SSE Category Index For Announcements On Information Disclosure”

The Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) has formulated the “SSE Business Guidelines on Direct Channel for Listed Companies’ Information Disclosure” (the “Guidelines” for short) to further improve the quality and efficiency of listed companies’ information disclosure, urge market participants to fulfill their responsibilities, and protect legal rights and interests of investors. The SSE hereby releases the “Guidelines”, which will take effect on July 1, 2013.

In response to the implementation of the “Guidelines”, the SSE has amended the “SSE Category Index for Announcements on Information Disclosure” (the “Index” for short) and specified the scope of the announcements accessible to the Direct Channel. If the announcements to be disclosed by listed companies are included into the scope above as stipulated by the “Index”, issues of information disclosure should be handled according to the “Guidelines”.

The SSE will organize trainings related to the business of the Direct Channel for Listed Companies’ Information Disclosure in the near future to ensure the smooth implementation of the “Guidelines”, with specific arrangements to be notified later.
