Notice Of Implementation Of "Trial Measures On Trading On Shanghai Stock Exchange Comprehensive Electronic Platform Of Fixed Income Securities"

To improve the trading efficiency of fixed income securities and promote the development of fixed income securities market, the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) developed the comprehensive electronic platform of fixed income securities (Fixed Income Platform) and worked out the "Trial Measures on Trading on SSE Comprehensive Electronic Platform of Fixed Income Securities" (Trial Measures). It hereby releases the Trial Measures(see Attachment) and announces the following issues.

1. Soft operation of trading on the Fixed Income Platform will be implemented from July 25, 2007.
2. During the soft operation period, the Trial Measures only applies to treasury bonds. Timetable and requirements for trading of other fixed income securities on the Fixed Income Platform will be notified later.
3. During the soft operation period, the Trial Measures only applies to trading between dealers. Timetable and requirements for contractual trading between dealers and clients will be notified later.
4. During the soft operation period, treasury bonds trading on the Fixed Income Platform won't be accounted into the SSE T-bond Index.
5. Charges for trading on the Fixed Income Platform shall be implemented according to SSE's current standard. During the soft operation period, such fees as the trading fee are free.
6. Any unsettled issues shall be notified later.
