Nordnet Bank AB Starts Operations On The Warsaw Stock Exchange

On 3 April 2008, the leading Scandinavian online broker Nordnet Bank AB started operations on the WSE including trading in all securities on its own and on its clients’ account.

Nordnet Bank AB is a major Scandinavian broker and a member of OMX (all markets), Deutsche Borse (XETRA) and Nordic Growth Market.

Growing number of WSE Remote Members not only proves that the Warsaw bourse is an attractive source of investment and profits for foreign investors, it also strengthens the WSE’s position as the leading market in this part of Europe and comes in line with our strategy of creating a CEE Regional Financial Centre in Warsaw.

Currently, there are 45 Exchange Members at the WSE, including 19 Remote Members from Hungary, the Czech Republic, Austria, the UK, France, Germany, Sweden, Slovakia, and Estonia.
