Following requests from trading members a new time schedule for the launch of NGM's upcoming trading system, Elasticia, was set yesterday, at a meeting organized by the Swedish Securities Dealers Association, with representatives from trading members, providers of trading technology and NGM. The new schedule for the launch of Elasticia was jointly decided upon at the meeting.

Please take necessary actions in order to ensure your ability to participate in the MWATs.
New networks even for connectivity to existing trading system
The existing network infrastructure will not be used for access to Elasticia. New connections must therefore be ordered and set up.
Access to the existing trading system, Freeway, is achieved over the new network infrastructure and clients are encouraged to replace the old network solutions as soon as possible. Please contact NGM support in order to prepare for the termination of old network agreements.

Point of contact
Members that have not yet appointed a primary contact for the migration process should do so. Please inform NGM of this contact via an e-mail to: support@ngm.se
The primary contact should also register with the NGM forum (as described below). Once logged in to the forum you will find information on the migration process. Updates in the process are communicated there and you will also be able to enter open discussions with other members of the forum (technical integrators and NGM members). Other contacts than the primary contact are also welcome to register with the NGM forum. We will setup another forum, aiming at those that are not interested in low level technical discussions. Information will be published on the ngm-dev forum listed when available.
Registering with the NGM forum
In order to take part of the migration process, please register at the NGM forum, by following these steps:
- Sign out from your personal Google Account and / or Gmail
- Go to https://www.google.com/accounts/
- Specify your professional email address and a password of your choice and create a new Google Account
- Go to http://groups.google.com/group/ngm-dev
- Register using your newly created Google account (professional address).
Please note that registrations with personal email addresses will not be accepted.
Update required in the trading applications
Elasticia does not support the old transaction or market/back office feed protocols. Applications connecting to NGM must be updated in order to connect to NGM after the switchover. Please contact your trading system provider for information on their schedule for rolling out connectivity for the upcoming Elasticia system.
Pre-production testing
There is a common testing period for members to be able to verify that their access and applications work in the production setup. Joint tests will be performed with the mandatory MWAT tests. The pre-production test will start on the 1st of June.
Approved applications
Applications must be tested and approved by NGM prior to being connected to NGM in production. A list of approved applications will be provided on the NGM forum.
