No Problems With Trading On SWX On Monday November 15

In cooperation with participants, the data in all systems were brought into line again and made available for the opening of trading on Monday morning. Trading on Monday opened on schedule at 9.00 a.m. During the opening, 8000 trades totalling CHF 600 million were completed. This is three-and-a-half times higher than the average for the past few months. The day's trading went off without any problems. A total of 735,405 orders with 64,275 trades were processed. This represents a turnover of over CHF 5.5 billion. Now that the correct operation of the Exchange systems has been confirmed, the SWX Swiss Exchange is concluding its analysis of the network problems encountered last week.
