New York Mercantile Exchange Sets Volume Record For NYMEX miNY<SUP>TM</SUP> Gasoline Futures Contract

The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., announced that the NYMEX miNY^TM gasoline futures contract traded 1,205 contracts yesterday, surpassing the previous record of 1,133 contracts set on January 20.

NYMEX President James E. Newsome said, "It is very rewarding to see growth in this recently launched contract. The NYMEX miNY^TM futures contracts are flexible risk management tools that provide customers with complementary vehicles to the full–sized floor traded contracts."
