His responsibilities included SEC reporting, corporate tax matters, transfer agent reporting, as well as administration of the company’s stock option plan. Prior to this, he worked as a senior manager for Marks Paneth & Shron LLP, a mid-sized public accounting firm, where he specialized in commercial and residential real estate.

Mr. Filoso has a bachelor of arts in accounting from Queens College of the City University of New York. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

NYMEX President James E. Newsome said, "NYMEX is pleased to announce these promotions. Both Jerry and Tony have already demonstrated their dedication and talent during the course of their employment at the Exchange, and we look forward to the additional contributions they will make in their new positions."
