New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg, Nashville Mayor Bill Purcell and Country Music Stars Brooks & Dunn will visit the New York Stock Exchange on Tuesday, Nov. 15 in celebration of the 2005 CMA Awards and will be joined by Daniel Doctoroff, Deputy Mayor of Economic Development and Rebuilding, Ed Benson, Executive Director of the Country Music Association, Tammy Genovese, Associate Executive Director and Maureen Reidy, President of NYC Big Events.
This year, the event is being held outside of Nashville for the first time. “The 39th Annual CMA Awards” will be broadcast live on the CBS Television Network from Madison Square Garden on Nov. 15 at 8PM/ET.
To celebrate this special occasion, Mayor Bloomberg, Mayor Purcell and Brooks & Dunn will ring The Opening Bell.
