New York & Company, Inc And The iShares FTSE/Xinhua China 25 Index Fund Join The New York Stock Exchange

In the week ended Oct. 8, two new listings joined the roster of New York Stock Exchange-listed companies.

The common shares ofNew York & Company, Inc., headquartered in New York City, began trading on the NYSE on Oct. 7 under the ticker symbol NWY. New York & Company, a leading specialty retailer of moderately-priced women’s apparel, joined the Exchange as an initial public offering.

The common shares of the iShares FTSE/Xinhua China 25 Index Fund, headquartered in Boston, Mass., began trading on the NYSE on Oct. 8 under the ticker symbol FXI. The iShares FTSE/Xinhua China 25 Index Fund, an exchange traded fund, joined the Exchange as an initial public offering.
