New Share Options To Start Trading At Meff

Trading of options on AMADEUS, INDRA, SOGECABLE, TERRA and TPI will commence at 9:00 am on 14 April.

The introduction of these new Share Options, together with Options on ACERINOX, ACESA, ALTADIS, BANCO POPULAR, BANKINTER, BBVA, BSCH, ENDESA, GAS NATURAL, IBERDROLA, REPSOL, TELEFÓNICA and UNIÓN FENOSA, brings the total number of options traded on MEFF, the Spanish Futures Exchange, to 18 of the 35 companies in the IBEX-35 index.

The combined market value of AMADEUS, INDRA, SOGECABLE, TERRA and TPI totals 37,450 million euros (PTAs 6.2 billion), representing 11% of the market value of the IBEX-35 index. The market value of all the share options traded on MEFF represents 90.5% of the IBEX-35 underlying value. Average daily volume traded in the Stock Exchange on these five shares, in the year to date, totals 320 million euros (PTAs 53,000 million).
