New Selection Of Constituents Of AEX Index® And Amsterdam Midkap Index®

In accordance with the rules of the AEX index® and the Amsterdam Midkap index®, both indices are reweighted annually on the first trading day of March.

Provided that no mergers, takeovers, changes of free-float percentages or delistings, etc., take place in the interim, the following changes will be made to the AEX index® with effect from Friday 2 March 2001:

• Buhrmann, KPNQwest and Versatel will be included in the AEX index®;
• Corus and Vendex KBB will be removed from the AEX index®.

Provided that no mergers, takeovers, changes of free-float percentages or delistings, etc., take place in the interim, the following changes will be made to the Amsterdam Midkap index® with effect from Friday 2 March 2001:

• ASM International, Be Semiconductor, Corus, Draka Holding, Landis Group, PinkRoccade, Unit 4 and Vendex KBB will be included in the Amsterdam Midkap index®;
• Buhrmann, Cap Gemini SA, Internatio-Müller, Stork, Versatel and Volker Wessels Stevin will be removed from the Amsterdam Midkap index®.
