New opening hours at Amsterdam Exchanges

As announced previously, trading in a large number of Amsterdam Exchange products will begin at 09:00 with effect from August 1, 1999. This means that as from August 1, opening hours will be as follows: Stock Market: Government bonds (including related securities such as STRIPS) 09:00 to17:00; Other bonds 09:00 to 16:30; Shares (excluding shares listed as domestic and foreign investment institutions in the Dutch daily official list) official market 09:00 to 16:30; Shares (excluding shares listed as domestic and foreign investment institutions in the Dutch daily official list) after hours trading (for a limited number of shares) 16:30 until the close in New York; Shares listed as domestic and foreign investment institutions in the Dutch daily official list: 09:30 to 16:30. Options market: Options and futures will be traded between the following times: Shares 09:00 to 16:30; AEX index (AEX) 09:00 to 16:30; Light AEX index (AEXL) 09:00 to 16:30; Amsterdam financial sector index (AFS) 09:00 to 16:30; Amsterdam information technology sector index (AIS) 09:00 to 16:30; Dollar/euro and euro/Dollar (DEX and EDX) 09:00 to 17:00; Precious metals (GD and SI) 09:15 to 16:30 Bonds 09:00 to 17:00; FTSE Eurotop 100 Index (ETI) 10:00 to 17:00; FTSE Eurotop information technology sector index (EIS) 10:00 to 17:00; FTSE Eurotop banks sector index (EBS) 10:00 to 17:00; FTSE EuroStars index (STAR) 10:00 to 17:00; Flex option 09:00 to 17:00.
