- As of 2 November, the WSE will offer new futures contracts on the shares of four more companies participating in the WIG20 index: TVN, JSW, Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka, and GTC.
- Seventeen futures contracts on shares will be in exchange trading
The new futures will represent 100 shares per contract. The following series of futures contracts with the following expiry dates will be in trading:

KBC Securities N.V. (Spółka Akcyjna) Oddział w Polsce will be the market maker of the introduced futures contracts on those shares.
Futures on shares of thirteen companies are currently in trading, including eleven companies participating in the WIG-20 index portfolio: Asseco, KGHM, Grupa Lotos, Pekao, PGNiG, PGE, PKN, PKO, PZU, Tauron, and TPSA, as well as two companies participating in the mWIG40 index portfolio: Petrolinvest and CD Projekt.
This year has brought new records on the market of futures contracts on shares. The volume of trading in those instruments has crossed 500 thousand contracts for the first time in history. The volume of trading was 560.4 thousand contracts in January-September 2011 as compared to the annual volume of 375.5 thousand contracts in all of 2010. The growth of the offering of underlying instruments of futures contracts is a natural consequence of the growth of this market segment.
