Today, the JSE welcomed New Frontier Properties to the real estate sector of the JSE’s AltX board. New Frontier Properties is the first company to list on the JSE in 2015, after a successful year of listings in 2014. The listing of the established Mauritian-based acquirer and developer of property assets brings the number of companies listed on AltX to 59.
Donna Oosthuyse, Director Capital Markets at the JSE, comments: “We welcome New Frontier Properties to the JSE. This listing on AltX demonstrates the growing appetite from both local and foreign investors to invest in the real estate sector. More importantly, the listing affirms once again that AltX is a useful venue for investors to access our capital markets whilst offering a clear growth plan for issuers.”

The company’s listing on the JSE will be a secondary listing, with it holding its primary listing on the Stock Exchange of Mauritius (SEM). The company listed today after private placement, having offered investors an opportunity to subscribe to up to 1 000 000 shares. New Frontier Properties is the eighth company to list in the real estate sector on the AltX board.
