New Euro/Japanese Yen Record For NYBOT's Finex Division

The New York Board of Trade (NYBOT®) announced yesterday another new futures open interest record in its Finex currency products division for the Euro/Japanese yen (EJ) of 17,444 contracts set on June 14, 2002. The new record replaces the previous record of 16,434 set on June 12, 2002.

NYBOT's Finex currency products division offers numerous currency futures and options on futures, including the Euro-based currency pairs, U.S. dollar-paired currency pairs, key cross-rate currency contracts, and the U.S. Dollar Index (USDX).
