New Deutsche Bank AG Structured Certificates Listed On The WSE

The ninth and tenth series of Deutsche Bank AG, London, structured certificates debuted on the Warsaw Stock Exchange parallel market on 21 May and 22 May 2009 respectively. The specifications of the new certificates are the same as those of similar instruments previously introduced by this issuer to the WSE but they have different maturity, barrier determination dates and coupon values.

The main parameters of the 9th series are as follows:

  • nominal amount – PLN 100;
  • issue price – 100% of the nominal amount;
  • maturity date – 30 March 2012;
  • coupon value – 13.5%
  • listed on the parallel market in the continuous quotation system;
  • quoted in PLN.

The main parameters of the 10th series are as follows:

  • nominal amount – PLN 100;
  • issue price – 100% of the nominal amount;
  • maturity date – 8 May 2012;
  • coupon value – 12%
  • listed on the parallel market in the continuous quotation system;
  • quoted in PLN.

Certificate Specification:

The structure of new series of the instrument is the same as that of the preceding series of Deutsche Bank AG express certificates listed on the WSE. The barrier level for the 9th and 10th series was determined at 70% of the Initial Reference Level, i.e., the closing level of WIG20 on 30 March 2009 for 9th series and the closing level of WIG20 on 5 May 2009 for 10th series.

Barrier Determination Dates

The express certificates give the issuer the option of early redemption. The issuer may decide to redeem the certificates on the following dates:

Ninth series of Deutsche Bank AG express certificates:

  • 30 March 2010
  • 30 March 2011
  • 30 March 2012

Tenth series of Deutsche Bank AG express certificates:

  • 5 May 2010
  • 5 May 2011
  • 8 May 2012

The number of instruments listed on the WSE has increased by 14 products in 2009 (13 certificates and one bond).
