CME Group, the world's largest and most diverse derivatives exchange, today announced a new U.S. Dollar/Colombian Peso monthly futures contract on ClearPort(R), scheduled to begin trading on January 11 for trade date January 12.
The new contract (commodity code V2) will have a contract size of U.S. Dollars/100 million Colombian Pesos. The contract will be listed for 24 months beginning with the January 2009 contract. The existing Colombian Peso futures contract (commodity code VE) will be delisted.
