New China A Shares ETF Lists On London Stock Exchange

London Stock Exchange today welcomes the ‘db x-trackers Harvest CSI300 INDEX UCITS ETF (DR)’ to list in London. The new Exchange Traded fund (ETF) will offer investors in Europe access to the China A Shares market and has been launched in partnership with Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management and Harvest Global Investments Limited. The ETF will track the CSI300 Index, which comprises the largest 300 stocks traded on the Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges. 

To mark the launch of this new ETF, London Stock Exchange welcomed Michele Faissola, Head of Passive Asset Management at DeAWM and Dr Henry Zhao, Chairman of Harvest Global Investments to open trading in London.

China is one of the world’s largest and fastest growing economies and the new China A Shares ETFs listed on London Stock Exchange provide investors with the opportunity to have direct exposure to this market.” 

Marco Montanari, Head of Passive Asset Management, Asia-Pacific, DeAWM said: “We are delighted to mark the listing of our new ETF, which offers investors access to some of the largest companies listed in mainland China. Our partnership with Harvest Global Investments enables us to offer European investors a fund that meets the growing appetite for Chinese securities.”

 The db x-trackers Harvest CSI300 INDEX UCITS ETF (DR) is denominated in RMB and trades on London Stock Exchange in USD and GBP.
