New CBOT Dow Equity Contracts Launch February 10, 2004

On February 10, 2004, the CBOT® will launch on eCBOT, CBOT mini-sized DowSM futures options and futures on the Dow JonesSM U.S. Total Market Index (TMI).

CBOT mini-sized Dow options provide numerous benefits over DJX index and Diamond options:

• portfolio margining advantages
• extended trading hours
• larger contract values mean less commission costs
• potentially less costs at exercise

CBOT TMI futures will provide combined small, mid and large cap exposure in the largest equity index contract to trade at the exchange. Contract value is $500 x TMI index value, which is a current value of approx. $135,000. Tick size = .05 = $25.

Electronic market makers will be active in both contracts. Free streaming quotes will be available on www.cbot.com/dow.
