New Baltic Exchange Tanker Route

The Baltic Exchange has announced it will report on a new dirty tanker route. This new route will be known as TD10D and follows consultation with the industry and recent market developments.

The route description will be:

• 50,000 mt Caribbean to USAC fuel oil Aruba to New York with laydays/cancelling 7/14 days in advance. Double hull vessel, maximum age 20 years.

Reporting of the route will start on 1 February 2005.

Reporting on the existing Route TD10 will end on 1 February 2006 and at that time Route TD10D will replace Route TD10 in the Baltic Exchange Dirty Tanker Index (BDTI).
