On Wednesday 27, the Exchange’s trading session surpassed by 7 percent its historical daily record mark for dollar futures traded in the Financial Derivatives Division (FDD).
With a total of 757,588 contracts, totalling an amount of over 750 million dollars, ROFEX reached a new record in its ranking of daily traded futures derivatives.
The traded volume showed a 7 per cent increase since the last record high, registered on Friday, July 26, 2009, when a little over 700 million dollars in financial derivatives were traded.
This significant volume was accompanied by a generalized price decrease of around 0.03 and 0.54 percent in all positions, with the highest reductions corresponding to longer contracts.
Such figures consolidate ROFEX as the leading market in the segment of financial derivatives in Argentina.
