Network Computing Awards Shortlist Velocimetrics As ‘Testing/Monitoring Product Of The Year’

Date 25/03/2019

Fintech firm Velocimetrics, the leading provider of business flow tracking and real-time, in-stream performance analytics, has been shortlisted in the ‘Testing/Monitoring Product of the Year’ category by the Network Computing Awards, representing an unprecedented level of awards success for the company early in 2019.

The awards, which are run by Network Computing Magazine, the UK’s first publication solely-focused on network management; being selected as a finalist is widely-seen as an indicator for industry front-running networking solutions. Velocimetrics now has four shortlistings to its name in 2019, having already been nominated by the RegTech Insight Awards, the FTF News Technology Innovation awards and the National Technology Awards.

The firm was included based on its VMX EndToEnd solution, which provides clients with unrivalled network monitoring capabilities. One potential benefit of the solution is enabling financial institutions to generate millions of dollars in profit in remaining compliant with increasingly-stringent regulatory requirements. By correlating trading data across the entire business flow, Velocimetrics empowers clients with maximum insight, accuracy and business efficiency in real-time and with near-zero impact on underlying systems.

The announcement continues an impressive last twelve months across the board for Velocimetrics; having released a new version of its product suite last July, it was shortlisted by the FOW International Awards and TradingTech Awards in Q4 2018, and in February announced that, in partnership with Napatech, it had slashed latency at a global tier-1 investment bank x10.

Additionally, last year ITRS Group, the leading provider of real-time monitoring, became a Velocimetrics partner: the partnership enables ITRS customers to independently track and analyse the performance of every quote, order, trade or payment traversing business-critical processes in real-time, greatly improving operational resilience and providing actionable insights.

Steve Colwill, CEO of Velocimetrics, said: “I am very pleased that our fine run of awards form is continuing. However, based on the team’s consistent hard work and the significant strides we’ve made as a business in recent months, I see this and previous awards recognition as thoroughly deserved.”

He added: “It’s gratifying to be named among such strong competition and we’re hopeful for more good news come May. Although our priority will always be to meet clients’ requirements and make a real difference to their business, broader industry recognition is always a welcome bonus.”

The winners of the Network Computing Awards will be announced at its ceremony in London on 2 May 2019 – please vote for Velocimetrics here.
