Singapore Exchange (“SGX”) is appointing Ms Neena Prasad as Senior Vice President and Head of Listings (India) effective 1 November 2011. Ms Prasad will lead SGX's efforts in attracting listings from India to its international capital raising platform. She reports to Mr Lawrence Wong, Executive Vice President and Head of Listings of SGX.
Said Mr Wong, “We are delighted that Neena is joining the SGX team. We continue to see strong interest from Indian businesses seeking to tap the international capital market via our Asian Gateway and our product offering such as REITs and Business Trusts. With Neena’s vast experience in the Indian market, she can ably promote SGX as the listing venue of choice in South Asia to businesses seeking international exposure."
Prior to joining SGX, Ms Prasad was with Morgan Stanley New Delhi. She has extensive experience in the private and investment banking industry in India with global financial institutions including GE Capital, Salomon Smith Barney/Citigroup and Bank of America.
Ms Prasad holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the London University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Delhi University.
