The first price ticker board was installed at the office of the Cotton & Cashewnut Authority at Abidjan. The executive director of the Cotton & Cashewnut Authority, Mr. Mapri D. Kpolo was present for the installation and appreciated the prices being displayed at real time. The ticker board has got a positive and overwhelming response from other senior officials as well. After the installation, Mr. Soumah of Audit Control & Expertise (ACE) briefed many senior financial authorities from the Ministry of Agriculture, Cote-d'Ivoire on the benefits of real time price information.
The second one was installed at the Audit Control & Expertise office in Abidjan.
Mr Ravikumar, CEO & MD of NCDEX said, “This is the first time that our price ticker boards have been installed overseas. Our goal is to make our Exchange’s prices a benchmark reference price in Asia & Africa, to begin with, so that trade benefits.
