National Technology Awards Shortlist Velocimetrics For Its Second Shortlisting In Two Weeks

Date 12/03/2019

Fintech firm Velocimetrics, the leading provider of business flow tracking and real-time, in-stream performance analytics, has been shortlisted in the ‘Analytics Product of the Year’ category by the National Technology Awards. The awards, now in their third year, celebrate pioneering products and organisations across the technology industry and drive further innovation along with encouraging excellence.

The shortlisting is a second in quick succession for Velocimetrics, following being named a finalist by the FTF News Technology Innovation awards, demonstrating the widespread acclaim the company is garnering from sector-specific and broader technology press.

Velocimetrics was chosen as a finalist for its VMX EndToEnd product, which has the capability to track business data of all types in true real-time. For example, market data can be monitored all the way through its lifecycle, converting it into real, actionable business intelligence.

The announcement keeps a highly-successful start to the year going for Velocimetrics; it released a new version of its product suite last July and was recently shortlisted by both the FOW International Awards and TradingTech Awards; earlier this year it partnered with Napatech to slash latency at a global Tier-1 investment bank 10x.

Additionally, last year ITRS Group, real-time monitoring provider, became a Velocimetrics partner: the partnership enables ITRS customers to independently track and analyse the performance of every quote, order, trade or payment traversing business-critical processes in real-time, greatly improving operational resilience and providing actionable insights.

Steve Colwill, CEO of Velocimetrics, said: “We are honoured to have been shortlisted by awards as prestigious as these and proud that our offering is being recognised among such tough competition. With that being said, we know the competitive edge we provide to our clients and see this news as added motivation to continue to innovate.”

He added: “2019 has clearly picked up where 2018 left off. We’re excited to keep the momentum going and continue growing, expanding, keeping our solution ahead of increasingly competitive industry demands.”

The winners of the National Technology Awards will be announced on 16 May 2019 at an awards gala in London – please see the full shortlist here.
