“Omnitel” subscribers will be able to get quotes of the Lithuanian securities, their changes, transactions concluded at the NSEL as well as other NSEL information by sending a request at 111 to the “InfoText”.
“Omnitel” vice-president Mr. Dainius Pupkevicius: “The new service is another modern way of receiving information offered by “Omnitel”. The information should be especially useful to brokers and businessmen. From now on they will be able to track changes on the Stock Exchange when travelling, being on holidays or abroad. It should also be attractive to those who already hold or intend to acquire securities.“
NSEL president Mr. Rimantas Busila: “This is one more step of the NSEL in disseminating trading information via new communication channels. We hope that this new, quick, and convenient service will contribute to the investors’ awareness and Lithuanian public’s interest in the securities market.”
The new service allows “Omnitel” clients to choose one single order or constant flow of the NSEL information. They will also have an opportunity to choose the time for receiving the information. Shortly “Omnitel” clients will be able to view real time trading at the NSEL on “Omnitel” Internet site “Mozaika”. This information will also be available via WAP.
