The Nasdaq Stock Market® announced today that, after consultations with officials at the American Stock Exchange®, the New York Stock Exchange, and the Securities and Exchange Commission, the decision has been made to keep the markets open, despite the effects of Hurricane Floyd, throughout the remainder of the trading day until the traditional 4 p.m. closing time.
