A first pilot of 14 Nasdaq stocks and one OTCBB security was carried out according to plan on March 12, 2001. A second pilot conversion to decimals, with an additional 177 issuer companies and their associated 199 securities, was implemented successfully on March 26, 2001.
The conversion by Nasdaq® to decimals is governed by the Decimals Implementation Plan For the Equities and Options Markets that was submitted to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on July 24, 2000.
