Nasdaq President Richard G. Ketchum Named As Equities Achiever Of 2001 By Equities Magazine

Date 20/12/2001

Equities Magazines has announced that Nasdaq's President Richard G. Ketchum is being honored this year as its "Equities Achiever of 2001." The selection is made each year by a panel of 12 judges on the person that "…has done the most to improve the equities markets by helping to make them safer, more efficient, reliable and attractive for investors."

Commenting on the honor was Nasdaq's Chairman and CEO Wick Simmons, who said, "What a great selection. Nobody knows markets better than Rick and that has lead to this year's smooth conversion to decimals, the successful implementation of SuperSoes and the approval and building of Nasdaq's next generation trading platform, SuperMontage—major accomplishments."
