NASDAQ OMX Nordic: Semi-Annual Review Of The OMX Iceland 6 Index

NASDAQ OMX Nordic, part of The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:NDAQ) announced today the results of the semi-annual review of the OMX Iceland 6 Index, (NASDAQ OMX Iceland: OMXI6ISK), which will become effective at market open on July 1st.

One change will be made to the portfolio of the OMXI6 Index where Eik Bank P/F is added as a new constituent, while Atlantic Airways P/F will be removed from the index.

The OMX Iceland 6 Index is the NASDAQ OMX Iceland's leading index. The index consists of the 6 most actively traded shares on NASDAQ OMX Iceland. The index is suitable as underlying for structured products and as a benchmark index for funds. The OMX Iceland 6 Index is a free float market capitalized weighted price index whose composition is revised twice a year.
