Prior to joining Nasdaq in late 2000, Randich was the Executive Vice President and CIO of the Chicago Stock Exchange, where he was responsible for all technology, trading-floor and back-office operations, and business product planning and development. He was also a Managing Principal at IBM Global Services responsible for a large systems integration practice in the Northeast region of the United States. Randich received his B.S. in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University and his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
