Nasdaq Liffe Markets Announces Senior Staff Promotions - Patrick Fay & Linas Jucas Promoted

Nasdaq Liffe Markets, LLC (NQLX) announced yesterday the promotions of two senior staff, Patrick Fay and Linas Jucas.

Patrick Fay has been promoted from senior vice president to executive vice president of business development for NQLX. Fay joined the Exchange in May 2002 and has been responsible for managing business opportunities and new product possibilities. He was formerly vice president of business development for the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE). During his eighteen-year tenure at CBOE, Fay oversaw sweeping changes of the CBOE website and restructured and managed the Options Institute, among other accomplishments.

Linas Jucas has been promoted from vice president to senior vice president of technology for NQLX. He joined the Exchange in August 2002. Jucas' major responsibilities are NQLX's Internet and Intranet systems architecture and management of the Exchange's technology systems. Prior to NQLX, Jucas was senior vice president of information systems for Commerz Futures eight years. His experience also includes being director of systems architecture at CBOE where he led the Board-level Trading Floor Technology Task Force.
