NASDAQ Executives To Present At Annual NIRI Conference

The NASDAQ Stock Market, Inc. (“NASDAQ®”; OTCBB: NDAQ) will host three breakout presentations on Monday June 7 th and Tuesday June 8 th at the 2004 Annual Conference of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) in Phoenix, AZ.

International Investor Relations: NASDAQ will elaborate on the benefits of an international IR program that targets institutional investors in major financial centers in Europe and Asia. The audience will receive guidance from a panel of experts moderated by Alex Ferrari, Associate Director, NASDAQ International. The panel will be comprised of Adrian Rusling, Managing Director of Kuhn Partners (a division of Thomson Financial), Belgium; Yoshiko Takayama, Managing Director of J-Eurus IR, Japan; Roberta DeTata, Senior Manager Investor Relations, Cisco Systems Inc. and Claire Hogan, Program Manager, also of NASDAQ International.

All session participants will receive a customized and targeted International Shareholder Report, which identifies portfolio managers holding U.S. equities in Europe and Asia.

NASDAQ's Market Structure and Dual Listing Initiative: Bruce Aust, Executive Vice President and Janet Lewis, Vice President, both of The NASDAQ Stock Market, will discuss the evolution of the capital markets and provide an in-depth review of NASDAQ's market structure and dual listing initiative. This session will cover the key investor relations challenges and how NASDAQ is assisting companies meet these challenges.

NASDAQ Corporate Services (NCS): John Heilshorn, partner, Lippert/Heilshorn & Associates and Marcia Barris, Vice President, The NASDAQ Stock Market, will discuss investor relations best practices including how to develop an IR Dashboard Report. At this session attendees will also learn how NASDAQ and its alliance partners set the standard in providing listed companies with key investor relations services such as the Market Intelligence Desk SM , Georgeson Shareholder's Irtrack, International Visibility programs and NASDAQ-Online.
