Nasdaq Dubai Welcomes Listing Of US$ 1 Billion Sukuk By The Islamic Development Bank

Nasdaq Dubai, the region's international financial exchange, today welcomed the listing of a US$ 1 billion Sukuk by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB). This is IsDB’s second Sukuk listing on Nasdaq Dubai in 2022, following a US$ 1.6 Sukuk listing in April.

The new listing strengthens the Bank’s position as the largest supranational institution issuing Sukuk on Nasdaq Dubai with a total value of US$ 17.79 billion currently listed through 14 issuances. It also brought the total value of Sukuk listed in Dubai up to US$ 81.03 billion, reinforcing Dubai’s status as one of the largest Sukuk listing venues globally.
