In her new role, Ms. Lewis will be responsible for business development in all of NASDAQ's key geographic divisions and worldwide. Ms. Lewis will also be responsible for client relationship management. As Regional Vice President of the Eastern Region, Mr. Singer will be responsible for maintaining NASDAQ's leading market position in the East Coast through client retention while attracting new business and cultivating new customer relationships.
Ms. Lewis joins NASDAQ from Sungard Business Integration, a division of Sungard Data Systems, where she was Managing Director of the Americas region. During her time at Sungard, Ms. Lewis was responsible for all sales initiatives, account management, client services and operations. Prior to Sungard, Ms. Lewis worked at Dovetail Systems, where she was Senior Vice President and Director of Sales. While with Dovetail Systems, Ms. Lewis built a sales team and developed and executed the global sales strategy for the release of new products.
Mr. Singer joins NASDAQ from 4R Systems, Inc., where he served in several sales management positions and, more recently, was Chief Executive Officer and President. During his time at 4R Systems, Mr. Singer created a software company from a boutique consulting firm, managed the sales implementation, key accounts, and was responsible for significantly growing software orders. Prior to joining 4R Systems, Mr. Singer was Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Sales for Acorn Systems, Inc.

Ms. Lewis, 44, graduated from the University of New Haven with a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Illustration. Mr. Singer, 39, received a Bachelor of Science degree in International Finance. He also received a Masters degree in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
