NASDAQ Appoints Head Of Investor Relations

The Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc. ("NASDAQ®" ; OTCBB: NDAQ) today announced the appointment of Vince Palmiere as Vice President of Investor Relations. An 11-year veteran at NASDAQ, Mr. Palmiere will continue to also serve as Vice President of NASDAQ Corporate Finance. In addition to his finance responsibilities, Mr. Palmiere is responsible for leading all activities related to NASDAQ's shareholder base, including material news dissemination and interaction with financial analysts. Mr. Palmiere reports to David P. Warren, Chief Financial Officer.

"Utilizing his experience in accounting and financial reporting, Vince will focus on strategic investor relations programs to educate investors regarding the strengths of NASDAQ's electronic, multi-participant model. Before joining NASDAQ, Mr. Palmiere held various financial and accounting positions with Ford Motor Company and Westinghouse Electric.

A graduate of Duquesne University, Vince also has an M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh. As head of Investors Relations, Mr. Palmiere succeeds Paul Warburg, who decided to pursue other professional interests.
