During Mr. Wolyner's tenure, NASDAQ Transaction Services (NTS) achieved a number of key strategic initiatives, including broadening access to NASDAQ's trading platform through FIX, implementing fully anonymous trading in SuperMontage, restructuring NTS and expanding the NTS sales team.
"Glen has provided leadership to NASDAQ Transactions through a critical phase and we are grateful for his many important contributions. Upon his arrival, he outlined a range of goals for NTS and was able to achieve them in a short period of time. We are also pleased to be able to expand Chris Concannon's role in Transaction Services given his deep knowledge of market structure and regulation," said Bob Greifeld, president and chief executive officer of The NASDAQ Stock Market. "Chris will play a pivotal role as we evolve and improve our marketplace for investors."
Greifeld continued, "Adena Friedman will continue to oversee NASDAQ Data Services while taking on broader responsibilities in corporate strategy. Adena has played an ongoing role in corporate strategy across a number of business lines during her 10 years at NASDAQ and we look forward to her continued leadership."
