MSCI Consultation On Tradable Indices

MSCI, a leading provider of investment performance benchmarks, announced on June 4 that it will consult investors on the design and maintenance of tradable indices, with a specific focus on Europe. This study is to assist MSCI in the development of new tradable indices and in considering enhancements to the existing MSCI Pan-Euro and Euro Index Series.

This is an information gathering study, which may or may not lead to any change in the MSCI Pan-Euro and Euro Index Series. If any change is warranted as a result of this study, MSCI would make a public announcement in advance of such a change. A consultation document has been posted on MSCI.s web site at www.msci.com/consultation and comments can be submitted through MSCI.s client service channels.
