Mr. Hüseyin Erkan, CEO, World Federation of Exchanges, officially opens the Mondo Visione Exchange Forum in London on Wednesday.
Dr. Kay Swinburne, a Member of the EU’s Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee will be giving a keynote address.
The Mondo Visione Exchange Forum has attracted a diverse range of delegates from the exchange industry, including the Moscow Exchange, Deutsche Boerse and CME Group.
Current industry issues such as the changes affecting over-the-counter derivatives where transactions in cleared, liquid derivatives will have to take place on a trading venue, rather than over-the-counter, and be subject pre- and post-trade price reporting; new exchanges opening up shop in London and the proposed rules for high frequency trading will shape the event’s trademark interactive panel discussions.
