The Icelandic investment bank MP Investment Bank will start direct trading in shares on Oslo Børs Wednesday 28 February 2007.
MP Investment Bank is the second new member to join Oslo Børs in 2007, and the third Icelandic member to trade directly on Oslo Børs. In 2005 7 new brokers started direct trading on Oslo Børs, in 2006 the number was 9 new brokers. Including the two new ones so far in 2007, 18 new brokers have started direct trading on Oslo Børs the last two years.
Including MP Investment Bank, 31 out of 54 members on Oslo Børs are remote members.
