The weight of Sberbank prefs (SBERP) in the MICEX Index has become less than 1% following Moscow Exchange's quarterly review of its indices. The new constituent list was published on 1 September, and will take effect from 16 September.
According to the Bank of Russia"s instruction 2919-U "On the evaluation of quality of a credit organization performing central counterparty functions", Sberbank prefs are to be taken from the NCC"s list of assets eligible as collateral. From 16 September, Sberbank prefs will be traded with 100% pre-funding.
