President and CEO Hans-Ole Jochumsen says: "The fact that Morgan Stanley wants to be a member of the Copenhagen Stock Exchange I regard as an apparent effect of the NOREX Alliance. The point is that it is very easy to become a member of for instance the Copenhagen Stock Exchange if the applicant is already a member of another exchange in the Alliance - both in terms of the actual approval procedure and connection to the trading system. Moreover, the common trading rules within the NOREX Alliance is an incentive for other international securities houses to become members of the Copenhagen Stock Exchange".
