Montreal Exchange - Establishes All-time Record For Total Monthly Volume

Montreal Exchange (MX) (TSX:MXX) reported that its trading volume for May 2007 reached 4,592,430 contracts, establishing a new record for total Exchange volume, exceeding previous record achieved in March 2007.

Average daily volume for the first five months of 2007 (January-May) reached 183,169 contracts, compared to 159,325 contracts for the same period in 2006, an increase of 15%.
