- Average City salaries have increased by 7% to £50,836 in September 2005 compared to the £47,483 average recorded in September 2004.
- Senior level salaries have experienced the strongest rise with an increase of 9.2% on the previous year, to £76,750.
- Number of new jobs coming onto the market fell 11.6% in September 2005 to 5,733 compared to the August 2005 figure of 6,489. However, new jobs were up 18.2% on September 2004 levels.
- Number of new candidates coming on to the market in September 2005 rose by 9% compared to the previous year.
