Mizrahi-Tefahot Bank Renews Its Tailor Made Market-Making Agreement On Tel Aviv Stock Exchange For Another Year

Mizrahi-Tefahot Bank has announced that it is renewing its participation in the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange's Tailor Made market-making program for another year. The decision follows a year of significant improvement in liquidity indicators and trading quality in the Bank's shares.

Data from the program's first year show that average daily trading turnover in Mizrahi-Tefahot Bank shares during the continuous trading phase surged by more than 56%, from about NIS 48 million per day in the first half of 2025, before the program, to about NIS 76 million in the first half of 2026. Foreign investor participation in trading rose by about 12%.

According to TASE data, market makers made a significant contribution to trading in Mizrahi-Tefahot Bank shares, accounting for about 15% of average daily turnover. This activity led to a marked improvement in market depth and trading costs, with the visible quantity in the order book increasing by about 53%.

Meitav Market Making and Idan Financial Instruments will serve as market makers in Mizrahi-Tefahot Bank shares during the program's second year.

The Tailor Made program enables leading companies to take an active role in improving the tradability of their securities, based on the understanding that high liquidity and deep order books are prerequisites for attracting domestic and foreign investors.
