Minneapolis Grain Exchange Names Officers And Non-Member Directors

The Minneapolis Grain Exchange Board of Directors named 2000-01 officers at its October 16 meeting.

The board elected as chairman John C. Miller, president of Miller Milling. Elected as first vice chairman was Raymond F. Lottie, manager of cereal and eastern grain operations, General Mills Operations, Inc. Donald W. Wilson, vice president of investments of Prudential Securities Incorporated, will serve as second vice chairman. Completing the five-member Executive Committee are Steve N. Lennartson and Charles A. Gallup, floor traders.

Kent R. Horsager will continue to serve in his first year as president and CEO.

The board also elected four non-member directors with terms expiring in November 2001. They are William W. Wilson, professor of agricultural economics at North Dakota State University; Thomas Hammond, president of Columbia Grain, Portland, Ore.; John Neufeld, group operations manager of ADM Milling, Canada and United Kingdom; and Curt Denisuik, director of commodity risk management for the Canadian Wheat Board.
